I might have to come back to this and clean-up as these thoughts came together just this morning - Jan 28th 2008
In the last few years my intense “watching and praying” reminds me of something I saw recently… it was the Hubble Telescope concentrating on a dark area of the universe; all sorts of hidden galaxies and mysteries began to come into focus. I have a burden to put down on paper what the Holy Spirit has led me towards-
First understanding that there will be a false prophet that makes ready for a false messiah… the timing here hasn’t quite jelled excepting that it seems the FP will proceed the AC by about 6 months. The False Prophet won’t be fully known until 6 months before the AC is fully known but for “the wise” it seems as though God is revealing these things.
The Holmes comet is significant of the False Prophet. BTW- The first time this comet was noted as “exploding” was in (*Dec 1892 & then again in) January 1893 which is the same month Herman Goering was born; he was Hitler’s infamous fp who also, authorized the “Jewish solution” – extermination of the Jews. *It seems to me the initial explosion might have served as an attention getter – “hey look over here”.
Algol is actually a three star system (Beta Persei A, B and C) in which the ... if you are uncertain of why this excerpt is here please do a web search of the significance of Holmes and the demon star Algol.
If this is a sign, what does it indicate? If Holmes is prophetic of the FP then can we conclude that the FP is about to come on the scene with the AC following in about 6 months?
The Departure precedes the AC recognized appearance by a little less than 6 months according to the enthroning of King David/Hebron prophetic type. So the Holy Spirit is signaling to the saints that about the time of the FP He will gather His saints, and then Jesus will proceed to take His Hebron-like throne. Keep in mind Jesus is to have the throne of King David according to scripture but specifically Luke 1:32... this would include the introductory time in Hebron of 7 and a half years with his core of men and his two wives.
Another thought on the 6 month factor is the type of Elijah found in John the Bapt. who was 6 months older than Messiah; just as Elijah is to come before Jesus 2nd Coming, the FP will come before the AC.
Another viewpoint - If (as per my notes below), the FP isn't revealed until the 7 years begin then we can assume that those who will "escape all these things" will not see his introduction. Apparently if Holmes and the Algol are significant, we can see the sign of his arrival just like we can hear a Harley coming up the street before we actually see it but he isn't manifest to the world until the Trib is set in motion. These things have to be prayed about and as we get closer to that Day clarity will come. Keep in mind the Hubble telescope...!
1Co 13:12 For we see now through a dim window obscurely, but then face to face; now I know partially, but then I shall know according as I also have been known.
Notes: As I was reading this morning I saw a note written in the margin at Rev 13:11 it says “dream of Moz.” For a moment I had to recall what that could signify and then I remembered last August I dreamt about flying off the coast of Africa. As I was singing in the Spirit, I turned into the shore at a place I assumed was Mozambique. I continued to sing and I traveled down a sandy road and I was about to enter a town I glanced behind me and a gigantic dragon’s head popped out of the sand. [I must have reacted like Tweety Bird meeting the “Pussy Cat” because I was on high alert and flew into what I thought was a secure building at the end of the street. Eventually, I left that building by flying out of an upper window – to start singing again.] The dragon’s head popping out of the ground rather than the sea – as both were in my dream signifies a type of beast coming from the earth, per Rev 13:11. Both beast out of the sea and the one from the earth have early prophetic signs in Revelations:
Beast from the Sea-
Rev 8:7-9 The first angel sounded: And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up. 8) Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. 9) And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed. Hail and fire mingled with blood is symbolic of the ministry of the FP! And this is thrown to earth. So in advance of the demise of the great mountain we have this 1st angel sounding and the manifestation of the decree.
A great mountain is a kingdom according to Rev. definition 17:9, etc… The collateral damage from this dethroning directly affects about one third of the world. The next verses tie the three soundings of the first trumpets together as one judgment manifested against an angelic ruler, Wormwood.
Rev 8:10-12 Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. 11) The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter. 12) Then the fourth angel sounded: And a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. A third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night. [The sea is fed by the streams and springs and in turn these are what give the saint refreshment from God – see related scriptures. Wormwood’s name is an explanation in itself; satan’s doctrine rather than making the waters sweet, makes them bitter.
Immediately following this fallen Wormwood, one third of the stars (besides the moon & sun) are snuffed. The parallel of course is found in the 6th Seal and in Rev. 12 where the explanation is given – satan & cronies are thrust from the air. We see this wormwood arise in chapter 13 taking his position in one of the “fallen” heads of this federation. ”Rev 13:1 Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name.”]
Beast from the earth

Rev 11:7 When they finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them.
[I group these together because united they give a more focused picture of what my thoughts & prayers have led me to:
Contrary to the description of the other star which represents the B of the Sea, these scriptures “earth” in the context. A star or angelic being is judged & he is given an authorization. He is given a name, “the destroyer”.
We see he defined even more so in chapter 11 as the B that ascends out of the bottomless pit – earth, again. Here, the Holy Spirit tells us the beginning of his persecution and then later, the method & intensity of that persecution: ”Rev 13:11 Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. And he deceives those who dwell on the earth—by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”
His appearance is as if he was as humble and harmless as a lamb but his words are inspired from the Dragon. His connection with Wormwood turned incarnate fallen leader, turned AC is extremely intimate and there is a supernaturally dynamic between them. As the FP is encourages and enforces the people to worship satan via the AC and the image. Speaking of the AC- Rev 13:7 “It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation.” The authorization to kill those that refuse to worship & take the mark is in the FP’s jurisdiction, at verse 15.
Others must see these connections but I haven't come across them as of yet - at least not to my memory!]

Prescription
The diagnosis was I wasn't prepared to be Raptured:
The New Creation is what wasn't before... otherwise it wouldn't be "new." Gentiles, (like Enoch & Noah) Jews (modern day label for Jacob's children) and the New Creation - the regenerated which makes up the church. I state this because the New Creature, a regenerated person has a hotline to heaven and more importantly - heaven can be heard by the regenerated if he or she listens! I say all of this because when I saw my need to get in-step with God and His last day plan I realized I would have to have ears to hear - a willingness to hear God's counsel via the Word of God.
"I'm not ready for the Rapture? But God I left everything to do Your will! See! We're busy doing it!"
I couldn't argue - if God said it, that had to enough to press forward in faith.
Once resigned to the task at hand, I asked in prayer what I should do.
Study the Word.
A few days went by and I became enamored with Luke 21:36 Watch and pray to be accounted worthy to escape all these things...
This was speaking to me and it was so straight forward; in my renewed state of humility I couldn't twist the meaning. Still, I had one question - Accounted worthy? How in the world did this jive with being born into God's family by Jesus' sacrifice which had already made me worthy when I became regenerate - born again?
This was perplexing and yet, here it was and repeated in various ways through out the New Testament. "Work out your salvation with fear and trembling" and many other such scriptures contrary to "saved by grace" truth. The full picture slowly dawned on me as I prayed, studied and humbled myself before God.
Body, soul and spirit-
1Thes 5:23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.(NKJ)
After I was born again of the spirit I entered into a race as Paul the apostle calls it. My name was entered into the roster - The Lamb's book of Life.
Ephesians 2: 8 & 9 say we are saved by grace - it is a gift of God; not of works. Strange, but the scriptures aren't complete without the next verse which most mature Christians know and yet, I never put it together with Eph 2:8 & 9. Verse 10 says, For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. These words aren't discretionary advice from the Holy Spirit but rather a stated fact.
Romans 8 says, those who are in Christ Jesus who no longer walk according to the flesh but according to the spirit are no longer condemned. Wait a minute we already know that the regenerated man is saved by grace so why is this stipulation here about walking according to the spirit? If we read further, we find that we are the children of God but if we are to be joint heirs with Christ we must suffer with Him! Rom 8:17
The Holy Ghost began to show me that although my spirit was born again, I needed to die to self to be "accounted worthy" to rule with Christ.
Once born from above, faith without works is dead but that truth is not applicable to the unregenerate person; their name isn't on the roster and therefore they cannot run the race nor gain the prize.
The judgment and condemnation due to a Christian who walks after the flesh is described in Luke 12:47 "And that servant who knew his master's will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes."
Also the famous Judgment Seat of Christ verses 1 Cor 3:12-15
Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw,13 each one's work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is.14 If anyone's work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward.15 If anyone's work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.(NKJ)
Through these scriptures and prayer and repentance - the Holy Spirit began to walk me toward the Rapture and toward being prepared to give a worthy account. By the grace of God I had discovered a truth that I had formerly been ignorant of - My spirit was saved, my soul was being saved (as I died to self and walked in the spirit) and my physical body would be saved in the future (1st resurrection).
This is the balance between eternal security and Arminianism when the scriptures seem to lean one way or the other. Of course we cannot "work out" our salvation but if (and it is) speaking of our souls giving an account for what we did in the flesh after our regeneration - Luke 12:47... Uh, now that would cause fear & trembling! Phil 2:12
Some scholars have labeled this balance as soul salvation to be had after spirit rebirth.
If this is all true... Jesus' warnings to watch make much sense!
Unfortunately the ones who thought he was delaying His coming were caught off-guard. Luke12:45 & 46 says, this servant will be cut in two (soul from spirit, Heb 4:12 & 13) and "will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers."
Matt 24:50-51 "the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of,51 "and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.(NKJ)
Now as I said at the beginning of this post - the regenerate can hear from heaven so what I have written here is what my Father has shown me. I am still listening and learning. I don't have all the answers but I hope to have all that the Holy Spirit would give before the Trumpet sounds!
The teaching of the wise is a fountain of life, that one may avoid the snares of death.(RSV) Prov 13:14

Diagnosis

Okay - I am new at this... I cannot even remember how to post using my user name & password! First I had to master the microwave, then the electronic keyboard for church and now this!
Who in the world would want read this anyway? don't we have enough to do before we stand and give an account as to how we ran this race...?
Africa is an interesting continent. I had no desire to come here - ever, and especially when I was praying to be sent as a missionary to someplace - but not Africa. God has taught me so much in these few short years. I'm so thankful that He opened this door. It is truly a privilege to serve and co-labor with Him here.
After we arrived almost 4 years ago, the Holy Spirit began to work me over. I had been a Christian for over two decades but here it was - God wanted something from me - something more. But I was busy; busy with ministry, busy with family and busy with sinners. - new converts - religious nuts.
So I ignored the gentle nudges and still small voice, after all I wasn't sinning. I was doing what I was suppose to be doing and then - "Whap" an interruption from the Holy Spirit. It was Passover... "Excuse me God, I am a Christian - I don't take note of Passover."
I dreamed. In my dream my husband and our congregation were readying for the Thief - He was coming and we were getting ready.
The Thief got past all of our preparations and showed up in our living room, surprising us. He didn't look like Jesus! He was dressed in a suit. As I recognized Him, I gushed, "I thought you were on our side!?"
I awoke very disturbed.
I began to wrestle with God in prayer - in my mind - through the scriptures. After several weeks I concluded - I am not ready for the Rapture! Jesus does not want me (anyone) to be caught unaware and my so-called preparations were falling short in light of scriptural warnings.
This was the 3rd incidence where God had gotten my attention during a Jewish feast time... I'm slow but the third time was the charm. God has a calendar!
That was a revelation.
Also, my meager understanding of God's plan and timing was no longer acceptable to the Holy Spirit. A conviction overcame me, that I wasn't digging into the Word of God as an older saint should. I had been living on spiritual rice and beans but God wanted to enlarge my table. Mediocrity was quickly becoming apathy which was in turn causing my relationship with God to be lukewarm. Unacceptable!
Sometime before the Holy Spirit kept prompting me to Revelations 3 and the warning to Laodicea. That was one reason I surrendered to become a missionary - I thought it would cure my spirit. But now, with this dream came another Holy Ghost prompting Revelations 3:1-3 Sardis!
Rev 3:1-31 "And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, 'These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: "I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.2 "Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God.3 "Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.
So not only was I lukewarm but now God was mercifully showing me that my Christianity wasn't what it ought to be - faith without works is dead! Finally, although I periodically spoke of Jesus coming, I wasn't in the least sincerely expecting it.
The search for a cure began.
